The Work Itself

The wrong pump fails early.

A pump that's wrong for your well runs noisy, fails early, and costs more in electricity than it should. A pump sized right runs quietly for fifteen to twenty years.

We sell, install, and repair submersible pumps (deeper wells), jet pumps (shallower wells), and booster pumps (properties that need more pressure) — and we tell you honestly what your well actually needs.

  • Submersible, jet & booster pump install
  • Pump sizing & selection for your specific well
  • Pull, inspect, repair & reinstall service
  • Wiring, control box & pressure switch work

We had our well deepened in Galena. Tom came highly recommended from multiple people, and was always reachable by phone during what turned out to be a difficult deepening a lesser crew would have given up on.

Good Questions

Answered, straight.

How long should a well pump last?
A pump sized correctly for your well typically runs 15–20 years. Undersized or oversized pumps fail much sooner and cost more to run — which is why proper sizing matters more than the pump's price tag.
Submersible or jet pump — which do I need?
It depends on your well's depth and your water demand. Submersibles suit deeper wells; jet pumps suit shallower ones; booster pumps add pressure where it's lacking. We'll assess your well and recommend the right fit.
Can you repair my pump, or only replace it?
Often we can pull, inspect, and repair — replacing a control box, pressure switch, or wiring rather than the whole pump. We'll tell you honestly when a repair makes sense and when replacement is the smarter spend.
Do you offer emergency pump service?
Yes. If your well has stopped flowing, call our emergency line at (775) 230-1700 and we'll get on it.
